Raiding hasn't been completely ideal recently, what with 3 of our raiders on holiday and 1 of them having to work an awful lot of the time, and because of this we've had to miss a fair few raids. However, we've still managed to raid a few times and we've now got 5/7 down (once people stopped bathing in tornadoes!). Majordomo doesn't look too hard, and I reckon he'll go down this week if we don't miss any raids (which would be a miracle :P).
Also, we finally ended up getting a guild group together to go kill nef to get Guild Defender of a Shattered World, allowing our exalted members to get the Dark Phoenix mount!

Just realised that anyone checking out the website might get the impression that we've not actually done anything, so just making a post to let people know we are alive and active!
So, to bring you up to speed. The Exiled are a very new 10 man guild on Vashj-EU, and after a few short weeks of raiding with only a few raid days a week have managed to get to 2/13 HC progress, drawing 6th this side of the server for progress!
Firelands has come out now, and we've added a fourth raiding day to our calendars, so we now raid for 20:00 -> 23:00, Monday to Thursday. Currently our Firelands progress is 2/7 and I'm confident this won't stop improving.
As far as recruiting goes, it's still a bit iffy whether or not we have a final, established, set raid group at the moment and so there might be space for 1 or 2 more additions.
All exceptional applications are welcome, but for now I would say we would be looking particular for a strong dps or healer (check above for specs we are currently recruiting). We expect reliabile, focused, pro players so don't bother applying if you're a slacker or a noob (just a waste of ours and your time).
As a side note, we also accept social applications for players who are decent but aren't looking / can't fit in to a raid group, so if you're tired of your noob guild and just want to be able to do dungeons with good players rather than scrubs or you just want to chat with good players rather than scrubs then let us know! Socials may also get the occasional raid spot as well if we happen to have one spare.

Welcome to Exiled!
The Exiled are a new pve guild, building it's first 10 man raid. The guild's focus is on progress without being hardcore, this means we want decent players and decent raids, but of course real life issues > WoW so there isn't as much stress as with hardcore guilds. We are currently recruiting (refer to recruitment part of site for what classes and specs we are currently recruiting, and whisper Meecham, Holyblaze or Chayer in game if you are interested in applying).
Cataclysm isn't as hard as all the whiny noobs make out, we expect to clear normal content fairly quickly and progress onto heroics before 4.2.
So, if you're tired of wiping continously with your guild on bosses you know are easy, or if you don't think your guild has the right mindset about raiding, or if you know you're good enough but don't get chance to raid with your guild, then apply here! (We want people to be able to hit the ground running, so there is a minimum equipped ilevel of 350 without pvp gear required as well a 5/12 minimum progress. In addition, we would like applicants to be 16 years or older so that the guild remains a mature environment).
